INSPIRATION:
Op zondag 25 maart 2012 opnieuw een swingend concert meegemaakt van de Stable Roof Jazz & Blues Band met muziek uit de jaren dertig (New Orleans). Ik kan zo van dit soort muziek genieten, je wordt er vanzelf vrolijk van. Kan deze band dan ook van harte aanbevelen, zie bijgevoegde YouTube video van St. James Infirmary. Op 23 september 2012 vindt er weer een concert plaats in Egmond aan Zee (NL). Voor meer informatie voor andere optredens zie hun website STABLE ROOF

Stacey Rookhuizen - een vrouw met lef en eigen stijl
Met veel plezier kijk ik naar het modeprogramma "Project Catwalk", gepresenteerd door Stacey Rookhuizen. Heb bewondering voor deze vrouw die lef heeft én een geheel eigen stijl. Hieronder volgt een kleine impressie van Stacey haar stijl. Voor de gehele fotoserie: zie de bijgevoegde link van Starlounge.

Fashion exhibition: Azzedine Alaïa in the 21st Century
From 11 December 2011 to 6 May 2012, the Groninger Museum (the Netherlands) will present the exhibition entitled "Azzedine Alaïa in the 21st Century". This exhibition displays the most fantastic Alaïa fashion creations of the last ten years. Alaïa is one of the last major couturiers still active.

BE A MODEL FOR ONE DAY - Photoshoot at Vondelpark/Amsterdam
Earlier, together with the Dutch photographer John Hunt, we did do a photoshoot for "Be a Model for One Day". Location: Vondelpark, Amsterdam (NL). Our models are Iris and Merel (2 sisters).
Eerder ben ik bezig geweest met "Be a Model for One Day", waarbij een persoon voor 1 dag model is. Samen met fotograaf John Hunt zijn we hiermee aan de slag gegaan. We hebben vier fotoshoots gedaan op respectievelijk een boerderij in Noord-Holland / beeldentuin Nic Jonk, in het Vondelpark te Amsterdam en in een appartement in Amsterdam.
Iris en Merel:
Iris en Merel zijn twee zussen en waren model voor 1 dag in het Vondelpark te Amsterdam. Wat vindt u van de foto's? Zijn het geen plaatjes mijn nichtjes? Fotoshoot 3 (Steffanie/Jenny) volgt binnenkort. Eerder heb ik ook een blog gewijd aan boer Tom Blog-BeAModelForOneDay(1)/Tom
Op de lange termijn lijkt het me leuk om "Be a Model for One Day" met chique avondkleding te doen in combinatie met haar en visagie. In deze fotoshoot hebben Iris en Merel zelf hun haar, kleding en make-up verzorgd. Wie weet wat mijn volgende stap hierin gaat worden?
