We spotted the following fashiontrends for Fall/Winter 2017 during New York Fashion Week: Style Politics, Biker-Girl Leather, All Fishnet Everything, The Wool Suits of Wall Street and Wrap Stars. New York Fashion Week's trends read like a guide to all things American. There were joyful, celebratory moments, like stars and stripes across tees at Tommy Hilfiger and flag-like skirts at Calvin Klein. But there were also angry, politically charged moments that were bound to arise after the election. Designers didn't hold back when it came to conspicuous messages: Prabal Gurung, Creatures of Comfort and Public School were just a handful of the brands who got their feelings off their chests and onto their clothes.
