Decorating: luxurious black wallpaper 'Crocodile' by Graham & Brown

I guess long-time readers discovered already how I love wallpapers ..... While surfing on internet this morning I found this beautiful Crocodile black wallpaper designed by the company Graham & Brown. This gorgeous, textured wallpaper is an ode to luxury. It would work equally well in an office, bedroom, glamorous bathroom or an entryway in need of a little drama. Tuscany: Sting's Lush Farm and Tuscan Estate, Villa Palacio

I am completely in love with this gorgeous Villa Palacio from singer Sting and his wife Trudi Styler in Tuscany. What a fantastic place to be and what a fabulous estate! The terrace offers views of the couple's biodynamic vineyards and the Chianti hills beyond; the landscape design is by Arabella Lennox-Boyd. An ancient cedar of Lebanon overlooks the parterre, formally known as Il Giardino dei Limoni, or garden of the lemon trees.

The musician and his wife bought the property in 1997.

Chinese wisteria cloaks the 118-foot-long oak pergola.

The pool, installed by a previous owner, overlooks the Valdarno Superiore valley.

 

Lunch is often served on a gravel terrace in the shade of an oak tree.

Sting came up with the idea for the oversize chessboard.

Clipped boxwood frames beds of lavender, santolina, and white oleander.

Architecture: Stunning staircase design at Wieden+Kennedy New York

While surfing on Linked-In I saw this stunning staircase design. This amazing staircase design is situated at the New York offices of advertising agency Wieden+Kennedy. If you know anyone in advertising, it’s Wieden+Kennedy. The Portland-based agency has been the creative behind Nike since the start and has grown into a global brand with offices all over the world. Their NYC office is a cool collection of no-frills meeting spaces to encourage the company’s collaborative nature. The minimalist-styled space feels open and airy and it should, considering it’s 50,000 square feet. Stunning staircases lead from floor to floor and on the 6th and 7th floor, an outdoor space creates a green oasis for employees to enjoy in the heart of NYC. Be Inspired .......
