More about the fashion designer
Elizabeth studied at Parsons School of Design, graduating with a BFA in Fashion Design. Immediately after graduation, Elizabeth gained recognition in the industry, quickly rising to very senior roles at several prestigious fashion houses. She designed for some of the most recognized and esteemed fashion designers in New York city including Donna Karan, J. Mendel, Max Mara and Isaac Mizrahi Couture. At the age of 22 she became the head designer of Isaac Mizrahi where she designed both the runway collections and custom couture for clients all over the world. Similarly at Donna Karan, where she played an integral part in the launch of Donna Karan Atelier, Elizabeth was responsible for creating one-of-a-kind gowns and dresses for the red carpet. After honing her skills for nearly a decade, Elizabeth launched her own namesake sold exclusively at Bergdorf Goodman in New York City.

Elizabeth Kennedy epitomizes luxury in the pure sense of the art form. In the first two years the collection has already found tremendous success at retail and in the realm of custom couture with recent clients including Molly Sims, Mariah Carey and Sharon Osbourne. It has been embraced as a collection that has design invention, modernity and integrity. Elizabeth is regarded as one of the most skilled talents of her generation and credits her success to the many years of experience working as a leader in the fashion industry.

The collection is hand-crafted and produced in the New York City Garment district, an effort to support high-end fashion manufacturing in the US.

Photography: Amazing landscapes from architectural designer Per Carlsen (01)

While surfing on Linked-In this morning I found some beautiful landscape photos from Per Carlsen. Carlsen is an Oslo-based architectural designer. His work is really amazing. He captures the visual beauty and shows how amazing our world can be! Be Inspired ...... In January / February 2026 will I publish a 2nd blogpost about Per Carlsen.

More about the architectural designer
Per Carlsen is known for his surreal landscapes that blend reality and imagination. Influenced by surrealism and brutalist architecture, he creates dreamlike scenes where monumental structures emerge in vast natural settings, often featuring a lone figure.

His work explores themes of human progress, technological dependence and environmental decline, evoking both wonder and unease. Using painting, illustration and 3D modeling, Carlsen bridges art and architecture, challenging viewers to reflect on their relationship with nature, technology and the future.

Flashback: Inspiring collection from Naeem Khan F/W 2012, seen at NYFW

Naeem Kahn has always designed with a nod toward his native India. But this season, inspired by a trip home last Fall, Kahn translated the extremes of Indian culture, from Tilaka dots to elaborate paisleys into a breathtaking collection worthy of Maharajah splendor. The title “The Body as a Canvas: From the Mughal Paisley to the Hindu Tilakas” tells the story. The collection featured mostly neutral colors, letting the fantastic workmanship shines. Earlier I wrote more blogs about this inspiring fashion designer, SEE HERE
