Dutch Design: Interesting lighting design by Frederik Molenschot

Dutch sculptural lighting designer Frederik Molenschot has created a series of lit structures made from cast bronze for 'Huys 404' (pronounced ‘house’), a new Park Ave residential building in Manhattan, New York. The never before seen structures were unveiled in a new exhibit on the ground floor of the project, a 1917 neoclassical building. Kronenberg Groep, one of the largest real estate developers in the Netherlands, is behind Huys and brought together various designers to showcase Dutch design. Frederik designed this large chandelier that will be featured in the lobby of the building. Earlier I also made a blogpost about the Huys project by Dutch interior designer Piet Boon, SEE HERE
