Today I spotted this elegant and stylish gingham trenchcoat, seen at the blog of The Viva Luxury. Love her style. And also a vintage fashion photo from Brigitte Bardot where she is wearing a pink gingham dress at her wedding to actor Jacques Charrier in the Summer of 1959. Aren't they beautiful? Gingham is a timeless fashiontrend that will stay.

Gingham is known by its checkered pattern and is reminiscent of picnics in the countryside or the tablecloths at a favourite Italian restaurant. It has also always had a history for being rather chic and Brigitte Bardot even wore a pink gingham dress on her wedding day.
