FASHIONBAGS: ARXI - wearable architectural details by Konstantin Kofta

Known for his daring and unconventional leather-accessory design, Ukrainian fashion designer Konstantin Kofta has just released his latest collection of leather bags and clutches. Kofta likes to draw inspiration from natural shapes, like seashells and parts of human anatomy, which he then transforms into fully-functional garments and accessories. Bearing the title “ARXI”, Kofta’s S/S 2016 collection takes the designer’s approach a step further, by incorporating and inspired by forms and imagery found in Baroque architecture.

Although only in his late-twenties, the Kiev-based designer has already succeeded in becoming a household name in fashion with his leather accessories that challenge concepts such as functionalism & wearability through their unconventional forms.

Each collection appears as a form of art installation. INTERIOR DESIGN: BEAUTIFUL FURNITURE DESIGN BY BRABBU

Love the products from the company BRABBU very much for its style, beauty and originality. BRABBU is a design brand that reflects an intense way of living, bringing fierceness, strength and power into an urban lifestyle. They design and produce a diverse range of furniture, casegoods, upholstery, lighting, rugs, art and accessories that tells stories from the nature and the world. Earlier I had an interesting and exclusive interview with one of BRABBU’s design team members. Below you will find a review. 

I had two questions:

1. A client would like to mix his living room with antique and modern design. The atmosphere should be elegant, stylish & luxurious. Which furniture would advise the Brabbu design team for this?

Well, in BRABBU’s collection you can see modern pieces with classic inspirations in some of the cases. For a stylish and luxurious atmosphere we would suggest for example the pieces in this set: 

LALLAN Center Table II, HOPLON Bookcase, EANDA Armchair and KUBEO Rug

Alternatively:

MALAY 2 Seat Sofa and Armchair; TURKANA Rug; NAZCA Sideboard; KOI Side Table; VELLUM Suspension Light; CYPRES Floor Light; CASSIS Sideboard; VELLUM Wall Light.

The truth is that BRABBU’s pieces create harmonious ambiances as they were thought to perfectly fit together. So, you just need to compose it with your favorite ones. 

2. Which interior trends/colors does the Brabbu design team expect for 2015 and which furniture can be used for this from Brabbu Design Forces?

Regarding color trends, we expect gray, pastel tons, greek blue, glossy blue, olive green and bold colors to be the most trendy ones for 2015. In BRABBU’s collection the pieces that most allow to apply these colors are sofas, armchairs and bar chairs. Below you will find some examples of furniture and/or atmosphere photos.
