More about the artist
Miranda finished drawing and painting at the Dutch 'Nieuwe Kunst Academie Crejat' in Alkmaar (NL). She followed here during 5 years lessons and developed her own painting style. You can describe her style as abstract, expressionistic, figurative art. With acrylic paint she is painting in various transparant layers. Her subjects are various, from portraits to landscapes and buildings with an historical background and even an icon. Besides painting on linen, Miranda also made various wall- and windowpaintings.

For a theatre association she made various décors. She worked as a creative teacher for a school. It was a challenge for her to learn the children several techniques in a playful way for drawing, painting and workmanship. Besides these activities, the Dutch school 'De Zandloper' in the place Koedijk (NL) gave Miranda also the opportunity to do some art projects.
