Flashback: The Chanel Cruise 2016-17 show in Havana, Cuba

Would like to share with you today this flashback of the Chanel Cruise 2016-17 show in Havana, Cuba.
This is a repost of my blog I published earlier on 05-05-2016.
Chanel sets Havana as a picturesque scene for its Caribbean-infused Cruise collection. On Tuesday night at the historic Paseo del Prado, Lagerfeld presented a collection that delicately reflected the influence of Cuban silhouettes and motifs including models smoking cigars, shirts that read "Viva Coco Libre!" and a few berets "irreverently evoking 'Commander' Che Guevara". See below for an impression. Be Inspired ......

ARCHITECTURE: Dream beach villa on Barbados

This Avant-garde luxury beach front villa spotted on Unique Living, is the first of its kind on Barbados’ Platinum West Coast. It is outstanding with modern and minimalist architecture, boasting striking contemporary style that takes full advantage of a prime location for the ultimate in Caribbean living.
This contemporary project is all about maximising vistas overlooking the beach, sea and coast from its elevated beach location. The multi-faceted clean lined exterior has a mixture of complimentary finishes and textures; coral stone, coral render and specialist wall finishes. Cantilevered balconies and terraces to the beach elevation allow for all Westerly facing rooms to be fully open to the 180 degree coastal view. The outdoor covered dining terrace has allowed for a private Master Bedroom Suite Terrace ‘in the trees” overlooking the beach and also given an 8ft high cascading water wall over the pools stunning infinity edge.
The shimming infinity edged pool softly blends into a striking blue Caribbean Sea. A meandering path through a radiant tropical garden leads to the white sandy beach where you can relax with a cocktail and enjoy the array of colours from a brilliant evening sunset.
