Furniture Design: the elegant Norton dining table designed by Sean Dare

Would like to share with you today this beautiful Norton dining table designed by Sean Dare (2014) from the British design company Dare Studio. What a craftsmanship! Here it is combined with the Katakana armchair. The Norton dining table was developed from an experiment in joinery techniques. The junctions between the cross rails, side rails and legs have been cleverly designed to overlap, slot and tenon to provide a solid construction with wonderful details. The Katakana armchair was designed by Sean in 2009. A beautiful combination with the Norton dining table ....... The armchair was influenced by Japanese symbology and has a distinctive angular character. I wrote earlier more blogs about furniture design, SEE HERE

For my longtime readers, I guess you've noticed already that I love colors. Below you will find inspiration in green hues. Like this beautiful abstract artwork above in green hues. Or the fantastic evening gown from fashion designer Monique Lhuillier. Or these green stones in the shape of an heart. The little green copper-rumped hummingbird is also lovely and last but least the sophisticated details from the Valentino coat. Aren't they beautiful? See also my Pinterest account for much more color inspiration (link below). Earlier I wrote more blogs about Colors, SEE HERE Have a lovey day!

Ad Campaign: Kendall Jenner stars in L’Oréal x Mugler's Makeup

Kendall Jenner is serving pure drama in the new L’Oréal Paris x Mugler makeup campaign. It marks Mugler’s big return to makeup after 15 years. The striking visuals put Kendall at the center of a story that’s equal parts glamour and transformation. In one shot, she wears a sleek red draped look with flawless matte skin and bold berry lips. Another sees her with feathered wings exploding in rainbow shades, channeling Mugler’s iconic butterfly archetype. Close-ups highlight a smoky eye dusted with electric blue. While a final look features her striding in a daring black-and-white slit gown. The campaign perfectly fuses Mugler’s fearless high fashion energy with L’Oréal’s accessible approach to beauty.

Note: Kendall wears here the Papillon Fourreau from the S/S 1997 'Les Insectes' couture collection by Manfred Thierry Mugler.
