Interior Design: Modern Swedish loft in an old factory

While surfing on internet today I found this beautiful modern Swedish loft in an old factory. Love the combination of industrial, the bricks of the walls, the modern elements as well as the Scandinavian touch. And what a great and creative idea to paint an antique table in anthracite black! In the past I had a glass design coffee table like on photo nr. 2. After 15 years I decided that it was time to buy another one. Steeltwist - Staircase with an industrial look by Upstairs Staircase Renovation

While surfing this afternoon on internet I saw this staircase 'Steeltwist' for stairs with an industrial look. Steel is being increasingly used to give interiors a sturdy, industrial look. The Dutch company Upstairs Staircase Renovation is keeping up with trends. LIGHTING DESIGN: Stunning Recycled Bicycle Chandelier

Recycled Bicycle Chandeliers by artist Carolina Fontoura Alzaga.

CONNECT is a series of chandeliers inspired by DIY and Bike punk culture combined with aesthetics rooted in the Victorian era created by LA based artist Carolina Fontoura Alzaga. Her handmade bespoke pieces evoke a strong industrial look and invite the viewer to examine them up-close in order to come to grips with their fine details and the technical precision needed to put them together.

Carolina managed to master the challenges faced by resilient materials such as bicycle chains and cassettes and created a stunning collection which also addresses universal themes around sustainability and the environment. She admits to having a strong connection with urban bicycle culture and hopes to inspire audiences to question their ideas on what is beautiful and functional. Ik ben helemaal weg van de industriële look bij woonwinkel Maisons du Monde. Prachtige meubelen om te zien. Zij importeren allerlei soorten meubelen uit de gehele wereld, zoals exotische houtsoorten (teak en shorea), maar ook Indische palissander, Chinese lak, een Tibetaanse koffer, Indonesische acajou, geboende den zoals bij Engelse brocante. Het is met recht een ontdekkingsreis tussen al dat moois. Een leuke en veelzijdige woonwinkel. Ik kan je deze winkel van harte aanbevelen en wens je veel inspiratie toe.
