INTERIOR: Beautiful & classy Hotel Les Dames du Panthéon, Paris (02)

While surfing on internet I found these beautiful photos from Hotel Les Dames du Panthéon in Paris. The hotel has recently completed a total renovation with rooms designed by interior designer Valérie Manoïl and it really looks stunning. The hotel is situated in the heart of the historic 5th arrondissement, just minutes from the Jardin du Luxembourg and overlooking the iconic, awe-inspiring Panthéon. Can imagine how it would be to enjoy the fantastic views of the Pantheon, Sacré-Cœur and the rooftops of Paris. I would absolutely love to stay here.
Love the atmosphere with Japanese influences by the selection of the wallpaper and the used color combination. This blogpost shows just one room design, but there are more stunning rooms designs to discover in hotel Les Dames du Panthéon. I posted earlier part 1.
What a fantastic view from your hotel room!

Lighting Design: Counterweight Floor Lamp by Fort Standard

I was inspired by this beautiful lighting design, the Counterweight Floor Lamp by design studio Fort Standard. Counterweight is a series of LED fixtures made of gently arching, steam-bent wood that uses marble and brass as ballasts.
More about the designers:
Fort Standard is a contemporary industrial design studio founded by Gregory Buntain and Ian Collings. Their collaborative work is a manifestation of their shared vision and progressive design approach that pairs timeless materials with modern processes. Often using traditional materials in innovative ways, the designers have developed a unique formal language rooted in simplicity and functionality. Their attention to detail, connections and materiality generate what Buntain and Collings describe as a “warm-contemporary” aesthetic. For more information, see the enclosed links below.

Inspiring interior design by Katharine Pooley (02)

Love the elegant, stylish and luxurious interiorstyle from interior designer Katharine Pooley. Below you will find some photos from her project Park Lane. What an elegant & sumptuous place to be.
About the interior designer
Katharine Pooley creates sumptuous, inspiring interiors. Her refined yet eclectic aesthetic has earned her a position as one of the most sought-after interior designers in London and commissions for landmark commercial & residential projects around the world.
An innate sense of adventure has defined Katharine’s life and shaped her design philosophy. Katharine is an intrepid traveller and has visited many countries all over the world. Her unrivalled personal service is characterised by charm, humour and an eye for beauty and detail.
The Far Eastern influences are explained by living and working in Bahrain, Hong Kong, Singapore and Vietnam. Returning to England after more than two decades abroad to pursue her passion for interior design, Katharine’s talent for understanding and marrying diverse cultural influences with elegant interiors quickly gained her a following among London’s international design cognoscenti. She established her design office and eponymous boutique in Knightsbridge and a concession in Harrods. For more information, see her website below.
