Be inspired by these beautiful rugs designed by Zoë Pawlak. Burritt Bros. Carpet & Floors launched earlier a line of graphic area rugs inspired by Pawlak’s contemporary artwork. The collection consists of five rugs based on Pawlak’s abstract painting Over Oceans. Over Oceans explores the passing of time and crossing the ocean, a once unimaginable distance to traverse. Each of the five rugs in the series depicts the movements, variations and endless possibilities that a single, massive expanse of water can have. It acts as a metaphor for this great life and not only the very endurance of it, but also the movement through and alongside its massive shifts. The rugs are produced by and available at Burritt Bros. Each rug is individually hand‐knotted in Nepal. Carpet & Floors. Burritt Bros. is a family run business that has been serving Vancouverites on Main Street for more than 100 years.
