Elegant & Minimalistic conference table Snaregade by Norm Architects

Today I would like to show you this inspiring conference table called the Snaregade table for Menu, designed by the Danish company Norm Architects. What an elegant design! This table was thoroughly tested by founder and creative management. An elegant and minimalist table with a strong geometric presence, the Snaregade is sleek enough to aesthetically elevate any space and durable enough for both commercial and private use. The thinner silhouette enhances the elegance of this beautiful table.

The Snaregade Table was originally built for the home of MENU founder Bjarne Hansen, answering the question: what does the founder of a furniture company need in his dining room? He needed a table that was efficient in its use of space, visually light and of course sophisticated. It was so well-received that it’s been in production ever since. MENU brings personality and intimacy to every piece and the Snaregade showcases the best of that as it feels customised for every setting.

The new linoleum tops are both visually and materially appealing with a heartiness that makes it an easy choice for families with young children or for a restaurant setting. The more slender silhouette of the top adds to the already present sophistication and minimalism. Earlier I wrote more blogs about this inspiring company Norm Architects, SEE HERE I hope you're inspired!

Outdoor Furniture: The Sweetch 18 Chair & Coffee Table by Benoit Lienart

Be Inspired by this red outdoor chair & coffee table called Sweetch 18 designed by French designer Benoit Lienart. It's an adaptation of the Rietveld chair that can turn into a table. Lienart is the mastermind behind the company Cerakapery, a Paris-based “innovation lab” whose philosophy stems from the belief that the creative process must work hand in hand with design, purpose and innovation.

Sweetch 18 epitimizes the concept of multifunctional design. Raise the center of the table and it becomes an armchair, lower the back and it transforms into a table. R
eminiscent of Gerrit Rietveld’s 1928 classic red and blue chair, the melamine and steel chair/table was selected for its innovative new design by the prestigious L’Observeur du Design 2011.
Really got space issues? Move the Sweetch indoors as it is happy inside or out. Handmade in France, the standard model is available in several combinations of materials. Also with a large choice of 50 colors, including violet, anthracite, taupe, blue marine, chocolate, turquoise, pistachio and white.
