Tulip Staircase at The Queen's House, Royal Museums Greenwich

Wow! What a beautiful spiral staircase. Love the elegant shape. This Tulip Stairs is situated in the Queen's House and nowadays part of the National Maritime Museum. The elegant Tulip Stairs is the first geometric self-supporting spiral stair in Britain. Although called the 'tulip' stairs, it is thought that the stylized flowers in the wrought-iron balustrade are actually fleurs-de-lis, as this was the emblem of the Bourbon family of which Queen Henrietta Maria (wife of Charles I) was a member. Interior Design: Luis Puerta - Inspiring Spanish Interior Designer

Love the decorating work from this fantastic interior designer, Luis Puerta. Luis Puerta is an interior designer from Madrid, Spain. He has a fantastic feeling for style, elegance and harmony. He seeks to create spaces that are serene, elegant and timeless. He seems very much influenced by French design and uses mirrors in his spaces quite often. Take note because his mirror applications are pretty spectacular - such a great way to make a space appear much larger than it is.

Furniture Design: Tone cabinets by Norm Architects for Zilenzio

Today I spotted these great cabinets, called Tone cabinets by Norm Architects for Zilenzio. Beautiful design and such lovely range of colors! Norm Architects have recently finished Tone, a new collection of sound-absorbing cabinets for Zilenzio. Designed to absorb and improve sound in the spaces where needed. The stunning cabinets help create a balanced acoustic environment, making them perfect for the workplace or at home. Styled beautifully by Sofie Brünner, the collection's gorgeous range of colors were selected by the recently featured Note Design Studio. Shot at the stunning Kinfolk Gallery. Art: Inspiring artwork from artist Markus Nass, Part 01

While surfing on internet today I saw this beautiful and expressive artwork from the German artist Markus Nass. Love his bright and fresh coloruse. Take a look below at these paintings. Aren't they beautiful to see? Markus is using here epoxy resin combined with pigment and acrylglas. I am really touched by his inspiring artwork. Markus also made a colorful bar as well as a lighting design, called Lava Lamp. Below you will find more information about his background. Markus Nass (German, b.1979)

Markus Nass, a recent graduate from the Staatliche Akademie der Bildendende Künste Karlsruhe, has developed a highly individual painterly style. Choosing to work with synthetic materials, Nass adds pigment to epoxy resin, which he then pours onto an acrylic surface. The clear, jewel-like colours are carefully chosen for the ways in which, combined and intermingled, they produce harmonies and dissonances, surface and depth, light and dark. Nass plans a basic structure for each work at the beginning of the production process but a central aspect of his approach is to allow the different colours to flow together, creating myriad layers. The resulting forms suggest birds-eye views of landscapes, cell structures or underwater realms. However, the transparent glow and otherworldly character of Nass' work ensures that the intimations of reality are always balanced with purely abstract elements. Ultimately, Nass' work is a self-reflective investigation of colour, light and form, the very fundamentals of art. Written by Felicity Lunn (curator, UBS-Art-Collection)
