This inspiring private residence located in Ramat HaSharon, Israel, creates the perfect background for a life filled with happiness and relaxation. Under the harsh Israeli sun, creative minds of Tel Aviv-based studio Pitsou Kedem Architects imagined a contemporary oasis. Collaborating with architect Jonathan Munjak, the architecture studio infused this previously vacant lot with life. Photographed by Elad Sarig, the home presents itself as a highly modern residence open to the outdoors via large windows, glass doors and glass partitions. For more photos from this beautiful project, see the enclosed link below.

Sculptures by Kendall Buster

While surfing on internet I found these beautiful sculptures from Kendall Buster. Would like to share them with you ...... Kendall builds sculptures by using industrial materials such as semi-transparent shade cloth, sheets of opal translucent honeycomb panels, etc. The artist earned a BFA degree from the Corcoran College of Art and Design in Washington DC and an MFA in Sculpture from Yale University. She also participated in the Whitney Museum’s Independent Study Studio Program in New York City. Her large-scale “biological architecture” projects have been exhibited in numerous venues nationally and internationally. I invite you to visit Buster’s website to see more of her amazing work.

More about the architectural designer

Per Carlsen is known for his surreal landscapes that blend reality and imagination. Influenced by surrealism and brutalist architecture, he creates dreamlike scenes where monumental structures emerge in vast natural settings, often featuring a lone figure.

His work explores themes of human progress, technological dependence and environmental decline, evoking both wonder and unease. Using painting, illustration and 3D modeling, Carlsen bridges art and architecture, challenging viewers to reflect on their relationship with nature, technology and the future.

Architecture: The Naturalis Biodiversity Center in Leiden, the Netherlands

Would like to share with you today this fantastic building called 'The Naturalis Biodiversity Center' located in Leiden, the Netherlands. It features an interior where geometric patterns take center stage. The building was designed by Neutelings Riedijk Architects. 

The Naturalis Biodiversity Center reinvents the museum-experience at scale. 38,000 m² of renovated and new-build spaces where layered stone façades, interlocking concrete molecules and a soaring ‘glass crown’ atrium bring biodiversity into dialogue with light, materiality and space. Every curve, hexagon, oval and triangle is intentional. It isn’t just about showcasing nature’s wonders (42 million specimens!) but about feeling embedded in them. Be Inspired ........

Dog Mansions in Bauhaus style by Best Friend's Home

Dog Mansion 'Cubix'

And you thought your dog was spoiled? I’m not sure if this is more for the owner or dog, but these dog houses from Best Friend’s Home are pretty snazzy. With this design they pay hommage to Bauhaus. Clear lines, puristic colours, glass cladding. Following the connotatively Bauhaus architecture spacious cubix offers lots of light and room for small and big dogs.
