Photography by Irene: A Sunny Day in the Forest .......

Today I would like to share with you this photo shot by me. Long-time readers know how passionated I am about photography. A few years ago I started with a study in photography to develop my self more in this field (still learning .....). Love to take photos of all kind of subjects like cityscape and landscape photography, particularly at sunset and blue hour. But also gardens, flowers, architecture etc. Sometimes shot with my smartphone and sometimes with my camera. Now and then I will share some photos with you. Be Inspired ......

This photo was made with my smartphone while I was on my way by bike through the forest in the Dutch place Bergen. Our goal was to go to the beach for a relaxing day there. Could not resist to make a photo while passing by this beautiful forest.
Have an enjoyable day and greetings from Irene from Holland!

Photography: Statue below Musee Du Louvre by photographer Brian Jannsen

Would like to share with you today this wonderful photo from the statue below Musee Du Louvre by Travel and Landscape photographer Brian Jannsen. I am a huge fan of his photography work. Be Inspired ......
More about the photographer
Brian Jannsen is a professional Travel and Landscape Photographer. For Brian the creative capacity of the lens and the allure of nature’s beauty are his inspirations. His images have been widely published in books, calendars and magazines throughout the world and a browse through his portfolio quickly confirms Brian’s natural gifting. His eye for perspective, attention to detail and ability to make time stand still in a breathtaking moment all align flawlessly in his work.

“Artistically, I feel like I'm taking God’s creation and trying my best to capture little snippets of it that can hopefully convey some of its amazing beauty,” he says. “The colors of nature, changing seasons, huge mountains, still lakes, small streams, waterfalls … there is so much to this earth. It's hard for me not to be inspired.”

Yet for Brian, perhaps the thrill of the chase is his greatest motivator - the ongoing quest for images so compelling, they encourage people to travel or simply to experience nature in a more profound way. It’s bringing the world to the doorstep of others that ultimately fuels his fervor.

“You can capture a little slice of 'place and time' on an image and share it with people who aren’t even there, but they can still feel some of the sensations as if they had been,” Brian says. “In a small way, photography allows you to take people on a journey.”

When not shooting beautiful destinations, Brian can be found leading guests on workshops and tours - giving them the chance to see and capture some of the same imagery that he is known for.
