Furniture Design: the elegant Norton dining table designed by Sean Dare

Would like to share with you today this beautiful Norton dining table designed by Sean Dare (2014) from the British design company Dare Studio. What a craftsmanship! Here it is combined with the Katakana armchair. The Norton dining table was developed from an experiment in joinery techniques. The junctions between the cross rails, side rails and legs have been cleverly designed to overlap, slot and tenon to provide a solid construction with wonderful details. The Katakana armchair was designed by Sean in 2009. A beautiful combination with the Norton dining table ....... The armchair was influenced by Japanese symbology and has a distinctive angular character. Furniture Design: Armchair Lhea by Cesare Monti

While surfing on internet today I saw this beautiful armchair Lhea designed by Cesare Monti in solid walnut and ash wood. Love unique designs like this. What a craftsmanship! Inspired by nature’s duality, the LHEA chair incorporates a set of contrasts: light and shadow, warmth and cold, statics and movement, heaviness and lightness. Outdoor Furniture: the Torii Nest Outdoor designed by Nendo for Minotti

Be inspired by this beautiful and elegant design, the Torii Nest Outdoor by design firm Nendo for Minotti. Designed by Japanese designer Oki Sato. It ensures sophisticated visual lightness and a real comfortable seat, characterized by couture craftsmanship.

Nendo is a Japanese architecture and design firm founded in 2002 by chief designer Oki Sato (born in 1977), that works on design projects globally. The first office was situated in Tokyo. In 2005, the second office was established in Milan. The company works with numerous brands and have won multiple awards over the course of 17 years of establishment. Oki is multi-talented, poetic and original. Internationally renowned for his multi-faceted approach, which spans from graphic design to product design and from architecture to the creation of installations. Minotti and Oki first came into contact in 2017. Oki officially joined the Minotti team of designers in 2018.

Furniture Design: The E6 Chair by Nikita Bukoros

Below you will find this interesting furniture design: the E sofa series by designer Nikita Bukoros (ODESD2). This series combines functionality and aesthetics, which were inspired by Japanese culture. The frames and legs are made of steel, with wood lining the armrests. Available in a chair, sofas and ottomans.

Ukrainian design studio ODESD2 has released a series of new furniture pieces with bold, memorable design details. What’s cool about the company is that they have a design school and their goal is to pass along industrial design skills to future designers. Some of the new pieces were even designed by their students.
