Photography by Irene: 'The Black Barn' in the place Bergen (NL)

Today I would like to share with you this photo shot by me. Long-time readers know how passionated I am about photography. A few years ago I started with a study in photography to develop my self more in this field (still learning .....). Love to take photos of all kind of subjects like cityscape and landscape photography, particularly at sunset and blue hour. But also gardens, flowers, architecture etc. Sometimes shot with my smartphone and sometimes with my camera. Now and then I will share some photos with you. Be Inspired ......

This photo was made with my smartphone while I was on my way by bike. Could not resist to make a photo while passing by this beautiful place. This is 'The Black Barn' in the Dutch place Bergen. In the previous century it was a sawmill and nowadays used as a cinema.

Photography by Irene: A Sunny Day in the Forest .......

 Today I would like to share with you this photo shot by me. Long-time readers know how passionated I am about photography. This photo was made with my smartphone while I was on my way by bike through the forest in the Dutch place Bergen. Our goal was to go to the beach for a relaxing day there. Could not resist to make a photo while passing by this beautiful forest.

Fotografie: Alkmaar Light Festival 2022 - 1 groot lichtspektakel (Deel 2)

Alkmaar Light Festival 2022, 1 groot lichtspektakel.
Het 1e weekend nadat de wintertijd is ingegaan veranderde Alkmaar één groot lichtspektakel. Met lichtshows op gebouwen, muziek, live theater en bijzondere lichtobjecten in straatjes en op pleinen beleefde je de stad zoals je dat niet eerder deed. Dit vond plaats op 4 en 5 november 2022. Er waren vele highlights te zien en te ervaren o.a. een spectaculaire projectie op de prachtige Ringersfabriek, een fantastische videoshow op de Waagtoren, een muzikaal lichtkunstwerk met 1848 relais uit 300 sloopauto’s en bewegende regendruppels die door de Laurentiuskerk zweefden gecombineerd met klassieke muziek. Hierbij voeg ik een aantal foto's toe ter inspiratie. Alkmaar Light Festival 2022, 1 groot lichtspektakel.
Het 1e weekend nadat de wintertijd is ingegaan veranderde Alkmaar één groot lichtspektakel. Met lichtshows op gebouwen, muziek, live theater en bijzondere lichtobjecten in straatjes en op pleinen beleefde je de stad zoals je dat niet eerder deed. Dit vond plaats op 4 en 5 november 2022. Eén van de hoogtepunten van het festival bevond zich in de Laurentiuskerk. Daar zweefden bewegende regendruppels door de kerk en werd er klassieke muziek gespeeld. Hierbij voeg ik een paar foto's toe van de verlichte kerk. Smartphone Photography by Irene: Autumn will arrive soon ....... (02)

I recently decided to follow my passion more and that is shooting photos. It always made me happy, even when I was a teenager. 🤗 I just started with an online training for 'Basic Photography' by learning more about manual settings with a digital camera. Of course this needs time. However sometimes, while I am on my way to an appointment, I am using then my smartphone. It is practical, easy to shoot and quick. I've also heard that Smartphone Photography will become more and more popular. Today I would like to show you some photos of dried flowers I found in the parc close at my place. Aren't they beautiful? Now and then I will show you some photos I've captured. Hope I can Inspire you too ......

Smartphone Photography by Irene: Blue hour at the harbour of Alkmaar (NL) (01)
