Bath ideas: 4 statement bathtubs for a blissful soak

Would like to share with you today some bath ideas for a blissful soak like this egg-shaped bath in gray, a beautiful white bathtub, a Piet Boon’s freestanding bath for Cocoon and last but least a colourful soft pink bathtub. Be Inspired ........ Earlier I wrote more blogs about Bathrooms, SEE HERE

1. Make a splash with an egg-shaped bath
Accentuate the silhouette of a modern egg-shaped bath by setting it against a contrasting backdrop, like this botanical print wallpaper. Treat the surface with a protective sealant.

2. Introduce calm symmetry with this beautiful white bathtub

3. Take an old meets new approach by Piet Boon
Classic marble bathroom ideas may be centuries old, but this versatile material can feel just as relevant in a contemporary setting. Carved from a solid piece of Carrara marble, the crisp, modern lines of Piet Boon’s freestanding bath for Cocoon is a case in point. Shown here on polished concrete flooring with a neutral backdrop, the designer’s signature clean lines truly celebrate Carrara’s gentle veining.

4. Pretty up with a colourful bathtub

Dutch Design: Interesting lighting design by Frederik Molenschot

Dutch sculptural lighting designer Frederik Molenschot has created a series of lit structures made from cast bronze for 'Huys 404' (pronounced ‘house’), a new Park Ave residential building in Manhattan, New York. The never before seen structures were unveiled in a new exhibit on the ground floor of the project, a 1917 neoclassical building. Kronenberg Groep, one of the largest real estate developers in the Netherlands, is behind Huys and brought together various designers to showcase Dutch design. Frederik designed this large chandelier that will be featured in the lobby of the building. Earlier I also made a blogpost about the Huys project by Dutch interior designer Piet Boon, SEE HERE
More about the designer:

Residential: Beautiful penthouse, Huys 404 Park Avenue, NYC by Piet Boon

Infusion of comfortable luxury.
Beautiful designed penthouse, Huys 404 Park Avenue South, NYC by Dutch interior designer Piet Boon. Located in the heart of the vibrant NoMad district, Huys 404 is a neo-classical property dating from 1917, set amongst fin-de-siècle office buildings and warehouses and neighboring stately mansions from New York's Gilded Age. Piet Boon was invited by award-winning Dutch property developers Kroonenberg Groep to create the total concept for the conversion from commercial offices to 58 luxurious and elegantly detailed condominiums with ground-floor retail space. Love all the beautiful detailing, like the white walls with the black window frames, lots of light in the living room, the mustard colored Kekke dining chairs that add warmth to the minimalist space. And also the interesting lighting design by Dutch sculptural lighting designer Frederik Molenschot (Studio Molen). For additional information, see the enclosed links below. This post is a repost of my blog from 21-11-2015. Be Inspired .......

Be Inspired: Beautiful interior design from Restaurant The Jane, Antwerp

Be inspired by this beautiful interior design from Restaurant The Jane in Antwerp. Michelin-star chef Sergio Herman and chef Nick Bril created their “fine dining meets rock ’n roll” restaurant vision together with Piet Boon over 3 years ago in a mythical location in Antwerp; the chapel of a former military hospital. Piet Boon® Studio, responsible for the interior design and styling of The Jane, since then collaborated in the chapel’s unique transformation into a high-end, contemporary restaurant with international allure where experience is key.

INTERIEURBOEK: PIET BOON 2

Interieurboek Piet Boon 2
